This page explains how to delete your Savix account
(developer: Zain-ul-Abideen) and what data is removed.
How to delete your account
Option 1 — In the app:
- Open the Savix app and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Settings.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
- Your account is scheduled for deletion and you're signed out immediately.
Option 2 — Request by message: if you can't access the app,
contact us at https://zainulabideen-portfolio.netlify.app from the email
address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll verify ownership and
schedule the deletion.
90-day grace period
After you request deletion, your account is deactivated and held for a
90-day grace period. If you change your mind, simply
sign back in within 90 days to cancel the deletion and fully
restore your account. After 90 days, the deletion is final.
What data is deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- Your profile (name, email) and login credentials.
- All financial records you created — transactions, budgets, goals, recurring entries, and borrow/lend records.
- Uploaded images (profile picture and receipts).
- Notifications, AI insights, and your subscription/usage records in our system.
What may be retained
- During the 90-day grace period your account is kept in a deactivated state so it can be restored; after that it and your data are permanently purged.
- Purchase/payment records are handled by Google Play and are kept by Google according to their policies — Savix does not store your payment details.
- Encrypted backups may retain copies for up to 30 days after the purge, after which they are automatically overwritten.
- Limited records may be kept only where required by law (e.g., tax or fraud-prevention obligations).
Once the 90-day period elapses, deletion is final and irreversible.
If you sign up again afterwards, a new, empty account is created.
